0161Melissa Johnson
received a BS in Dance from Texas Woman’s University. Melissa has taught dance in DISD and Carrollton Farmers Branch ISD. She currently teaches at Brookhaven College. This is Melissa’s twentieth season with Elledanceworks. Melissa recently finished her MFA at TWU.  Melissa extends special thanks to her husband Wade and her sons Blake, Ty and Chase for their loving support.




Tiffanee Arnold is chair and professor of dance at Collin College and artistic director of the student company, Collin Dance Ensemble.  She earned her Master of Fine Arts degree from Texas Woman’s University.  Tiffanee’s choreography has been honored seven times for the gala selection at the regional conferences of the American College Dance Association and several notable university dance programs have commissioned her choreography. Tiffanee would like to thank her husband Kirk, and daughters Rylee and Emylee for their support. This is her seventeenth season with  Elledanceworks.


Tracy Kennedy earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of California Irvine. Her dance studies include work with Donald McKayle, Albert Reid of the Merce Cunningham Company, and dance workshops in London. She has been performing, teaching and choreographing dance in the Metroplex for over 13 years.  Her works have been performed by Elledanceworks, Collin Dance Ensemble, Creekview High School Chevals Drill Team, Plano Children’s Theater and Storybook Children’s Theater. Currently, she is teaching at Dancer-Strong Academy and pursuing a Teaching Certification in Dance. Tracy would like to thank her husband Heath and sons William and Hunter for their support and love. This is her fifteenth season with Elledanceworks.


Melissa Bjork holds a B.F.A. in Dance Performance from The Ohio State University and an M.F.A. in Dance Performance and Choreography from Texas Woman’s University.  As a performer, she has had the opportunity to work with a variety of dance artists such as Tiffanee Arnold, Joe Alter, Mark Dendy, John Giffin, Susan Hadley, and Heather Mims, to name a few.  Her choreography has been presented in New Jersey, New York City, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and throughout the Dallas/Fort-Worth metropolitan area of Texas.  Currently an Associate Professor of Dance at Collin College, she has taught at The Atlantic Coast Opera Festival, Texas Christian University and Texas Woman’s University. Melissa is currently in her eleventh season with Elledanceworks.


Delanie Bitler has a BS Degree in Business Administration from the University of Texas at Dallas.  She has studied at numerous schools including Dallas Black Dance Theater, Chamberlain Ballet and Ballet Concerto in Fort Worth.  Currently Delanie is a member of Class Act Dallas, an exclusive acting ensemble, and she is a Realtor with Ebby Halliday, REALTORS. She has two children and a loving husband that provide endless support for her artistic adventures. This is her thirteenth season with Elledanceworks.



Jennifer Torres was born and raised in Dallas, TX and began dancing at the age of four under Gwen Owens of London School of Dance.  It wasn’t until college that this hobby became her passion. Since then she has had many opportunities dancing in the Collin Dance Ensemble at Collin College under the direction of Tiffanee Arnold, and with Micki Saba and Michele Hanlon in the UTD Dance Ensemble at the University of Texas at Dallas. She has also participated in many intensive workshops and residencies from such artists as Pilobolous Too, Battleworks, and O-T-O Dance where she studied the art of aerial dance. This is her tenth season with Elledanceworks.


330A2979Stacey Sparks discovered a love for dance after seeing how pretty a friend’s hair and leotard looked while getting ready for dance class.  A year and a move to Canada later, she started her ballet training at Patricia Sekeres Classical Academy of Ballet.  After nine years of studying and performing with various teachers and studios (including Tracy Kennedy, Maryann Morrow, and Kathy Chamberlain) Stacey earned a B.A. in Dance Education at Texas Woman’s University where she performed with several student led, innovative collectives (CholoRock, Big Rig Dance Collective, and RedDance) and earned Cum Laude honors.  Upon completing her degree and earning her Texas Educator certification, and several content certifications, she became a wife and dived right into motherhood.  Stacey and her husband Robert have three children, a pool business and seven cars together.  Stacey also teaches at Dianne Cole Johnson School of Dance in Carrollton, TX. This is her third season with Elle.


330A2946Amy Dillard holds a BA and BFA from Abilene Christian University.  She has performed as a company member in the Abilene Ballet Theater, Tulsa Ballet, The Dance Consortium, and as a guest artist with the Dallas Bach Society and Ampersance Dance Company. She is a self-employed visual artist living and working in Wylie, Texas.  This is her twentieth season with Elledanceworks.




Nikki Elam holds a Bachelors of Science in Dance Performance from Illinois State University.  She has studied with many dance instructors including Elledanceworks alumni Darby Wilde!  This is her third season with Elledanceworks!
